Q: No, there is a feature in BLE called privacy, using which the tag can advertise usinvg a random address, which changes every several minutes. This was the original unique Mac ID is hidden, achieving privacy. For this there is a unique key needed for every tag, which needs to be entered in both tag and gateway. The gateways having that key are the only ones who can "decode" the random address to original mac id
A:
public address method:
Currently our beacon products use the public address method, which is kept the same mac address during use.
RPA (resolvable private address) method,
we need to use the RPA (resolvable private address) method, which will change the random address of the beacon at regular intervals, and the gateway can also resolve the mac address through the secret key.
Public&RPA
We can Update the software keep both option in further
